I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois, with a Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling in Portland, Oregon. My roots in this field began with play-based therapy for Autistic children, and over the years I’ve expanded my work to support a wide range of neurodivergent and neurotypical children in clinical settings.
My approach is grounded in whole-brain and trauma-informed care, with a strong emphasis on nervous system regulation and co-regulation. I often draw from modalities like DBT and Narrative Therapy, and I believe deeply in the power of play as a tool for healing, connection, and understanding the world. I also believe that each person is the expert of their own experience, and I aim to meet my clients with compassion, flexibility, and a deep respect for where they are.
Much of my work includes collaboration with families, and I find a family-systems lens to be incredibly valuable in supporting change. I often incorporate parent coaching and caregiver involvement to address the broader dynamics at play. My areas of interest include neurodivergence, trans youth, trauma, anxiety and depression, and family conflict.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, diving into creative projects like painting and rug-making, and hanging out with my many beloved pets. As a Wilmette native, I feel a strong connection to the Chicago area and am grateful to be involved in the local community.
